2008 Major Photography Events
Art Fairs, Auctions and International Art Festivals
Major photography events, photography auctions and photography festivals for 2008.
These are events are primarily focused on fine art photography, but should be enjoyable to anyone that has an interest in art or photography.
Some events are primarily for working photographers and others are for collectors of fine art photography. Photographers should attend as
many events and art fairs and festivals as possible. You will often find a cluster of art fairs going on at the same time, the two biggest
are in New York in March, and Miami in December. Attending events provide you with a good opportunity to casually visit and get to know art
dealers as well as see what artwork they are representing.
